SAXMAN CONSULTING OFFERINGS

INTERRACIAL COFACILITATION
To support healthy multiracial organizations, Saxman Consulting co-creates professional learning spaces with facilitators of color to model the interracial skill development needed for organizations to meet their diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and accessibility (DEIJA) goals. Her partners include Ismalis Nuñez of Anew Collective Consulting, Krischanna Roberson of Collabovate Consulting, and Nicole Shimizu of Educational Impact Exchange.
COACHING
Sometimes, in racial equity work, people need to process personal history, organizational history, racial conflict, and/or racism in order to lead with racial consciousness. Individual coaching goals help people to engage in deep reflection in order to achieve transformation personally and professionally.
WHAT IS RACIAL EQUITY?: A FOUNDATIONAL SERIES
What Is Racial Equity? An Introduction: Provides organizations a foundational understanding of racial equity concepts in service of long-term DEIJA goals and metrics.
TRANSFORMATIVE SENIOR LEADERSHIP DEIJA SERIES
Supports leaders to integrate the DEIJA vision into the organization’s mission and strategy with a racially conscious adaptive leadership approach. Leaders receive feedback about whether their efforts are in alignment with current DEIJA expectations and standards.
CONFRONTING WHITE NATIONALIST RECRUITING
This series supports educators and administrators K-12 and at the college level to understand white nationalist recruiting and how to build the consciousness of our students to disrupt such recruiting efforts. It builds directly on the work in Western States Center toolkit: Confronting Conspiracy Theories and Organized Bigotry at Home.
BUILDING CULTURALLY RELEVANT, RACIALLY CONSCIOUS ORGANIZATIONS
To build relationships across differences, we must understand that difference exists. Organizations often project norms without realizing that other cultural ways of being exist within their employees’ experience. This series supports unearthing cultural differences, normalizing recognizing the relevance of those differences and the transformational power in hiring, retention, creativity, productivity and team-building that results.
STARTING AND SUSTAINING HEALTHY WHITE ACCOUNTABILITY/AFFINITY SPACES
This series will help you start or refresh your white accountability/affinity efforts with a focus on healthy interracial work and developing the skills of team members to facilitate these spaces on their own.
These efforts can be co-developed along with support for your People of Color affinity space to ensure the work supports a healthy multiracial organization.
